1984 A new company, Cooper's Animal Health, was created by the merging the veterinary interests of the Wellcome Foundation and ICI.

1988 Cooper's Animal Health, veterinary pharmaceutical business, including the research station at Berkhamsted Hill, was sold to Pitman-Moore, an American animal health company.[1]
