1908 Mill being extended.[1]

1908 ' It expected that spinning will commence at the Coral Mill, Newhey, in October. The first boiler was delivered on Saturday. The engines are almost ready'[2]

1910 'Coral Mill. Newhey, is now fully working. but trade generally has been in a depressed state...'[3]

1919 Restructured as Coral Mill (1919).

Acquired by Smith and Nephew.

1959 Mill closed.[4]

1995 Polyfabrik Ltd, Coral Mill, Newhey, Rochdale.[5] Part of Smith and Nephew Textiles

Mill demolished and housing built of the site.
