1864 Thomas Corbett started in business, trading under his own name.

At some point went into partnership with Arthur John Peele

1874 Exhibited a potato planter of ingenious design, a seed drill and a single row horse-drawn hoe.

1881 Partnership dissolved. '... the Partnership hitherto existing between Thomas Corbett and Arthur John Peele, carrying on business as Agricultural Engineers, at Shrewsbury, has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as from December 31st last. The business will in future be carried on by Thomas Corbett alone...'[1]
