1965 Vickers acquired R. W. Crabtree and Sons.

1966 Crabtree-Vickers was established by Vickers as Britain's foremost printing machinery manufacturer.

1977 Crabtree-Vickers Leeds was formed and was the only British manufacturer of a range of sheet and web fed offset printing presses and the home of Crabtree-Vickers newspress [1]

1980 The 900 series press was produced.[2]

1982 Crabtree-Vickers moved into Europe's newest printing machinery facility.[3]

1993 Crabtree Printing Machinery was incorporated. Closure of the Leathley Road works; sale of stock and transfer of some staff to Saddleton Machinery Ltd of Leeds[4]
