1922 Crieff Electric Supply Company Limited was incorporated, with capital of £12,000.[1] A prospectus issued by the company explained that their aim was the generation and supply of electricity in the burgh of Crieff, and that the company had been formed in co-operation with Edmundsons' Electricity Corporation of London, who had experience in the installation of such undertakings.[2]
