Born at Sunderland the son of Cuthbert Vaux

1834 Married at Sunderland to Sarah Ann Storey and had five sons and six daughters

1871 Residing at Belle Vue, Boldon: Cuthbert Vaux (age 58 born Sunderland), Brewer and Farmer employing 12 and 3 labourers. With his wife Sarah, son Edwin, and daughter Caroline.[1]

1878 March 01st. Died, Brewer, Wine and Spirit Merchant. Probate to sons John Storey Vaux and Edwin Vaux.
