1931 His wife dies in a motoring accident.[1]

1936. Obituary. Major Cyril Maurice Harvey of Clifton Down, Bristol found dead in a tent at St. Keverne, Cornwall with a shot gun beside him. He was aged 45 years. He was for many years the sales director of Alvis. In 1932 he had a serious motor accident and had been unable to race since.[2]
