We record with regret the death of Mr. D'Alton Corry Coleman, which occurred in Montreal, on October 17th, after a long illness.

Mr. Coleman, who was seventy-seven, was a former president and chairman of the Canadian Pacific Railway. He began his career with the C.P.R. as an engineer's clerk in 1899, and retired from the presidency in 1947.
