1871 Living at 84 Rochdale Road, Bury: Daniel Bentley (age 40 born Bury), Iron Founder employing 67 men and 19 boys. With his wife Clemence Bentley (age 45 born Bolton) and their two sons John Bentley (age 18 born Bury) and George Bentley (age 14 born Bury).[1]
