1825 Sale Notice: 'ALL that well-known COTTON FACTORY, with two Steam Engines, both in excellent working condition, one of Boulton and Watts's, 30 horse power, and the other of Ormrod's, nearly new, 17 horse power, both abundantly supplied with water. Together with the House, Gardens, Outbuildings, Stables, and Grounds, adjoining the mill, situate at Bankside, Oldham, Lancashire, built and formerly occupied by the late Daniel Lees, Esq. The Factory is now filled with Machinery, a portion of which is modern.....'[1]
