1884 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership lately subsisting between us the undersigned, Daniel Smith the younger and Frank Heynes Parkyn, carrying on business as Engineers, Machinists, and Tool Makers, at the Castle Works, Raglan-street, Wolverhampton, in the county of Stafford, under the style or firm of Daniel Smith and Co., has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as and from the 24th day of June, 1884. In future the said business will be carried on by the said Daniel Smith the younger alone...'[1]
