1902 Died. 'Sudden Death of a Blackpool Millowner. A well-known gentleman in financial circles, Mr. David Kemp, the Towers, Promenade, Blackpool, died suddenly at his residence yesterday at the age of sixty-nine years. Mr. Kemp was, with his brother James, who died about six mouths ago, proprietor of Read Mill and Friendship Mill, Blackburn, and Prospect Mill, Great Harwood, and the Queen's Hydro, South Shore. He was also a director the Blackpool Tower Company and a member of the Raikes Hall Syndicate.'[1]
