1851 Living at Lower Tulse Hill, Lambeth: George Martineau (age 58 born Norwich), Sugar Refiner. With his wife Sarah and son David Martineau (age 23 born Lambeth), Sugar Refiner's Son, and two daughters.[1]

1891 Living at 4 South Road, Clapham: David Martineau (age 53 born Lambeth), (?) Sugar Refiner and Employer. With his wife Sarah, three daughters and son Walter (age 22 born Clapham), Sugar Refiner Clerk.[2]

1911 Living at 122 King's Avenue, Clapham Park, SW: David Martineau (age 83 born Hill, Surrey), Retired Sugar Refiner. With his wife Sarah Emma and three daughters.[3]

1911 November 24th. Died. Of 122 King's Avenue, Clapham. Age 84. Probate to Sidney Martineau, Director, and Howard Martineau, Engineer.
