1929 Incorporated as a public company[1]

c.1959 Acquired Dako Adhesives[2]

1960 The management of De Vere Hotels decided on a policy of diversification and changed the name of the group to De Vere Holdings; Kilgour, French and Stanbury had already been acquired, which owned The Art Reproduction Co.[3]

1963 De Vere Holdings disposed of its namesake hotel[4]

1984 Greenall, Whitley and Co acquired De Vere Hotels and Restaurants; the company owned 14 hotels as well as the Connaught Rooms in London and the Mirabelle restaurant[5]

2006 Greenalls Group was renamed De Vere Group plc
