1889 January 25th. Company registered.

1891 March 1st. Complete section of 161.4 miles opened

1892 Maintenance transferred to the East Indian Railway

1898 June 29th. Contracted to build the Kalka-Simla Railway

1904 Shareholder meeting was presided over by Colonel A. J. Felgate, R.E.[1]
