1890s L. Gardner and Sons made dentists' chairs for the company; some were raised hydraulically, and some by rack and pinion; 106 were made in three years.

1949 75th AGM; chairman was Frank Hawtin; Blackpool factory was fully utilized; amalgamation with Anglo-American Dental Corporation by purchase - maker of acrylic teeth [1]
