From Graces Guide

Also known as Handyside Bridge, Darley Abbey.

This is a former railway bridge in Darley Abbey, Derbyshire, which was converted to a foot bridge in 1976 following closure of the railway in 1968.

It is a tied-arch wrought iron bridge crossing the River Derwent and was part of the Great Northern Railway. Designed by Richard Johnson of the Great Northern Railway and built by Handyside and Co in 1878. It has a single span of 140 feet (43m).

The deck which formerly carried the track is hung from segmental arches of lattice construction.
