Dinky Toys are die-cast miniature model cars and trucks.

1934 Meccano introduced a line of "modelled miniatures" under the trade mark "Meccano Dinky Toys".

This range of Dinky toys grew to include miniature cars, lorries, trucks, motorcycles, farm machinery, rural animals, and other models.

1964 Lines Brothers acquired Dinky Toys from Meccano.

1971 Acquired by Airfix Industries

1980 Dinky Toys called in the Receiver.
