Dodge Brothers: Buses

Dodge chassis have been imported into the UK since the early 1920s and assembled in Britain since 1927.

1933 the company started to produce its own range, but still used US engines and gearboxes.

1934 a 20-seater bus was produced with six-cylinder 23hp petrol engine, hydraulic brakes, and spiral bevel rear axle.

1937 a 26-seat model was added. From 1938 this was the only PSV produced.


1981 Talbot UK's commercial vehicle division was Dodge.[1]

1986 The Talbot Express was produced. This vehicle was used on County Council tenders.

1990 TBP took over and launched a successor in 1994 taking over the Talbot.
