Doncaster Generating Station

The first coal-fired generating station provided electricity to Doncaster from 1900 to 1958. Later known as Doncaster 'A'.

1929 Doncaster power station was selected for temporary use under the Mid-East England Electricity Scheme[1]

Doncaster 'B' station was another coal-fired station that supplied electricity from 1953 to 1983.
