1950 Douglas Laing and Company Limited, of 12 Renfield Street, Glasgow, was registered with share capital of £100, to carry on business as distillers, brewers, etc.[1]

2019 The company acquired the Strathearn Distillery, near Methven in Perthshire, which was established in 2013. The distillery has the reputation of being possibly the smallest in Scotland.
