James Rollo Duncan, of Tillycorthie House, Udny Station, Aberdeen, stone mason, formerly a herring fisherman and farm worker, founded Duncan's Electricity Supply Co. He died in 1938[1]

1919 A communication was submitted from Duncan's Electricity Supply Company with reference to the supply of electricity to the northeast of Scotland.[2]

By 1932 had been acquired by Scottish Power Co
