1866 Partnership change. '...business carried on by the subscribers, as Sugar Refiners, in Greenock, under the firm of Bell, Duncan, and Scott, and in London, under the firm of Duncan, Bell, and Scott, of which they are the sole partners, has been dissolved of this date, by the retirement of the subscriber James Bell. The business in London will be carried on by the said James Duncan, in his own name and on his own account, and the business in Greenock by the said Alexander Scott, in his own name and on his own account. Mr. Duncan will collect the assets and pay the debts of the London firm, and Mr. Scott those of the Greenock firm....[1]
