1977 Dunford and Elliott was acquired by Lonrho

1978 Hadfields Ltd was renamed Dunford Hadfields Ltd

1981 Renamed Firsteel Hadfields Ltd

1983 Firsteel Hadfields renamed Firsteel Group Ltd
