1914 'Established in 1808 by the late John Dunville, in conjunction with W. Napier. The firm was continued by John Dunville and William Dunville, and afterwards by William Dunville, R. G. Dunville, James Bruce, and James Craig until the retirement of William Dunville when R. G. Dunville, James Bruce, and James Craig continued until the formation of the present Company. Incorporated in 1879. Directors: James Bruce, D.L., J. D. Dunville, D.L. (Chairman), H. C. Craig (Vice-Chairman), H. L. Garrett, and J. C. Brownrigg, three last-named being Managing Directors'[1]
