Ethelbert A. Rusden of the Rusden Machine Co., Warren, RI, USA, marine engineers and makers of textile machinery.

E A Rusden was born in Manchester, England, in September 1861. He served a seven year apprenticeship with Mather and Platt, and then became a travelling representative for the company. During this time he spent five years looking after the company's interests in Russia. He emigrated to the USA in 1884. He established the Rusden Machine Co in 1899.[1]
