Secretary of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants

1898 Died. 'Yesterday information reached the offices of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants in London of the death of Mr E. Harford on his way from the United States to England. Mr Harford had been for some time in failing health, and the immediate cause of death is said to have been an attack of pneumonia. Deceased was until recently the General Secretary to the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants.'[1]
