1937 Resume. 'Mr. E. M. Edwards, engineer and manager of the Port Talbot Corporation Gas Department, is a native of Neath, and was educated at the Gnoll School. He was appointed to his present position in July, 1932 and prior to that was engineer and manager to the Sittingbourne District Gas Co. and was assistant general manager to the Holyhead and North Wales Gas and Water Corporation, Ltd. He served on the clerical and administrative staff of the Neath Corporation Gas Department, and was articled pupil gas engineer to Mr. W. Clark Jackson, the engineer and manager, and was also chemist and junior assistant engineer. He holds the Institution of Gas Engineers' diploma in gas engineering...'[1]
