1880 Born in Roscrea, Tipperary
1913 Died. Paymaster Eustace R. Berne, a flying officer attached to the Naval Aviation School at Eastchurch, was struck and fatally injured by the propeller while talking to the pilot and the plane ran forward as no chocks were fitted. He was a quailfied pilot of the Naval Wing of the Royal Flying Corps
