Eadies of Dalmarnock, Glasgow

1855 The partnership of Crichton and Eadie of Glasgow and Dalmarnock, tube makers, was dissolved on the death of John Crichton; the sole remaining partner was James Eadie.

Eadies specialised in the manufacture of lapwelded and loose flange tubes.

1861 Andrew Stewart left to set up his own business in gas pipes, an idea that the company would not support.
