Furniture manufacturers, Lochee Cabinet Works, South Road, Dundee

1895 The business was established by Albert and Frank East, two sons of the chair maker Francis East of Francis East and Co. They operated initially from a small works in Albert Street until moving to a larger site in Lochee in 1899.

1909 The business was incorporated as East Brothers Limited. Chairs and mahogany lavatory seats featured prominently in their output.

1986 The company went into liquidation.
