1939 M.I.E.E. Governing Director, Cox-Walkers Ltd., Darlington. Private Address: "Meadowfield," Staindrop Road, Darlington. Age: 71. Career: Commenced work with his father as Elect. Engr. at Darlington in 1880. Was one of the earliest manufacturers of telephones in conjunction with Revd. Hy. Hunnings, the inventor. Carries on a manufacturing and contracting business specialising in the design and manufacture of Automatic Voltage Regulators. Is also Managing Director of Cark and District Electricity Co.
