1898 Born the son of John Lock, a farmer.

1953 Senior Partner, Lock Brothers, Exeter. Born Chittlehampton, 3rd April, 1898. Educated at West Buckland School. Served apprenticeship to general engineering and in 1919 started machine shop work with the Exeter Garage Co, after being four years in R.F.C. Held present position since 1927. Recreation: Bowls.
