1863 'NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned JOHN HAWORTH aud EDWARD BROOKE, as manufacturing chemists and dry-salters, and agents for the sale of Messrs. Simpson and Co.'s aniline colours, carrying on business at Manchester and at Church, both in the county of Lancaster, under the style or firm of and Brooke and Co at Glasgow, under the style or firm of "Haworth and Brooke", under the style or firm of "Edward Brooke and Co" has been dissolved by mutual consent as and from the first day of January instant. All debts owing to or by the said concerns, or any of them, will be received and paid by the said Edward Brooke. The said John Haworth will continue on his own account in the said business of manufacturing chemist at Church aforesaid, under the style or firm "John Haworth and Sons." The said Edward Brooke will continue on his own account the said business of drysalter and agent for sale of Messrs. Simpson and Co.'s aniline colours, at Manchester and Glasgow, under the style or firm of Edward Brooke and Co.....'[1]
