1895 The family became naturalised subjects having been citizens of Russia and lived in Poland. They were then of 8 Union Row, Union Street, Whitechapel.

1897 July 22nd. Birth of Edward (Teddy) E. Rosen, the son of Samuel Rosen, a Grocer, and his wife Rachel. They were Polish-Jewish immigrants to London's East End.

1911 Living at 31 St Marks Street, London, with his parents and two siblings. He is listed as Ezra Rosen.[1]

1911 A colleague in the Post Office Wireless Department got Edward, then aged 13, a job in Marconi's Wireless Telegraph Co.

WWI. During the first world war, Teddy worked at radio servicing in the Royal Flying Corps (after lying about his age).

1920 Established his own company, Edward E. Rosen and Co, which later became Ultra Electric

1925 Edward changed his surname to Rose to try and disassociate himself from his background, though the wireless world ignored this and continued to use his original name.

1939 Living 52 Uphill Road, Hendon. Managing Director.[2]

1955 Edward and his wife were presented with gifts to mark the 25th anniversary of their factory.

1966 March 6th. Died.
