1894 Gained a patent on "Improvements in Pneumatic Tyres."
1895 A gentleman of Ashton on Mersey; with William Bowden, patent on "Improvements in or relating to Pneumatic Wheel Tyres."
1900 With Frederick James Seddon, patent on "Improvements in Pneumatic Tyres."
Several more patents on pneumatic tyres in the following years.
1911 of Manchester; with Arthur Seddon, both gas lighting and heating specialists, gained a patent on "Improvements in or relating to Compressors for Air or Gases."
1911 Edward Henry Seddon 55, brewery manager, lived in Didsbury with Emma Seddon 54, Edith Seddon 26, Arthur Seddon gas engineer, 30[1]
1934 died in Southport
