Egypt Mill, Nailsworth

From Graces Guide

Parts of this former mill date back to the 16th century. In 1675 it was leased as 'a tenement, 2 fulling mills. 1 gig mill and a dye house'.[1]

It reverted to a grist mill, and is now a hotel and restaurant, with waterwheels and other machinery on display. Part of the machinery bears the name I. M. Butt and Co
