Office: 211-14, Gresham House, E.C.—The company was registered November 16, 1898, to acquire a thirty (in 1904 extended to forty) years’ concession granted by the Egyptian government for the construction and management of official markets in 120 centres in Upper and Lower Egypt. The concession constitutes a practical monopoly within the localities specified, and on June 13, 1938, all the properties are to revert to the government
