1912 The Electric Blasting Apparatus Company Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £20,000, to carry on the business of manufacturers of and dealers in electric detonator fuses (with or without detonators), insulated wires and cables, batteries, exploders, and other appliances, and to carry into effect a contract with F. W. T. Brain.[1]

1918 Incorporated into Explosives Trades Ltd as part of the merger of 29 makers of explosives[2]
