1957 Company incorporated

1964 The George Kent Company acquired 51 per cent. of the issued capital of Eltromet Ltd. of Hitchin, Herts., manufacturers of panels and associated equipment for industrial instrumentation schemes.[1]

1964 George Kent Ltd were able to appoint the chairman and 2 other directors indicating a major interest in the company.

1967 Acquired by George Kent Ltd.

1968 George Kent Group offered to buy the stock and goodwill of the Letchworth factory of LSM — the workers were being offered jobs at Eltromet Ltd.[2]

1979 Renamed Brown Boveri Kent Ltd
