Ely Valley Railway

From Graces Guide

The line ran from Llantrisant on the South Wales Railway to Penrhiwfer with a branch to Gelli'r hiadd where later it would meet the Ely Valley Extension Railway. Another branch went to Glanmychydd where later it would join the Ely and Clydach Valleys Railway

1860 The line opened to Tonyrefail

1878 Opened to Penygraig for good and to passengers in 1901

1903 The line was absorbed by the Great Western Railway
