Emblaze was incorporated under the name of GEO International Computer Based Training Ltd in 1994 as an Israeli software company developing computer based training.

The Company name was later changed to GEO Interactive Media Group Ltd ("GEO").

In 1998, GEO changed its name to Emblaze to unify the technology and company name and moved to the main listing on the London Stock Exchange
