'...the Partnership "heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Philip Charles Evans and John William Bishop, as Woollen Cloth Manufacturers, at Brimscombe, in the county of Gloucester, under the style or firm of Evans and Bishop, was, on the 25th day of December, 1865, duly dissolved by effluxion of time; and that all debts due to and owing by the said late partnership will be received and paid by the undersigned, Philip Charles Evans, of Brimscombe aforesaid...'[1]
