EVELYN FRANCIS SANDERS, B.A.I. (Dubl.), born on the 12th July, 1864, died at West Hill, Titchfield, on the 31st December, 1909.

In 1887 he went out to India as assistant engineer on the construction of the Bengal-Nagpur Railway, becoming successively District, and Superintending Engineer, and in 1904, Chief Engineer of the system.

Mr. Sanders was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 3rd February, 1891, and was transferred to the class of Members on the 31st December, 1909.
