Exeter Central Railway Station

formerly known as Queen Street Railway Station
1860 Opened by the London and South Western Railway and until 1933, when it was rebuilt, it was known as Exeter Queen Street. It was the terminus from trains from London's Waterloo Railway Station
1861 It also became the terminus for the Exmouth line
1862 A steep line descended from the west end of Queen Street station to reach the Exeter St. David's Railway Station
1933 New station buildings opened and the station renamed as Central Station
