Exeter Quay: Transit Shed

The iron castings for the open sided Transit Shed on the quay were produced by Bodley & Co (presumably A. and W. C. Bodley) in 1820.
Bodley also made the large weighing scales located in the open shed, kown as the King's Beam. The column survives.
At the northern end of the open shed is a brick building constructed in 1878. It now houses the Exeter Antiques Centre and café.
