1837 Partnership dissolved: Joseph higgins and Ezekiel Jones, lathe and tool makers, Manchester, 29th May.[1]

1851 Listed in Southwark with his wife and seven children and others, as an Embroidery Master employing 1 man, 3 boys and 21 women. Born in Manchester.[2]

1861 Living at Albion Villa, Sevenoaks, Kent: Ezekiel Jones (age 57 born Manchester), Engineer. With his wife Elizabeth Jones (age 57 born Manchester) and their four children; Mary Jones (age 22 born Stockport); Marian Jones (age 21 born Stockport); Moses Jones (age 19 born Stockport); and Joshua Jones (age 17 born Didsbury).[3]
