1903 Licence granted to F. Lockett to open a slaughterhouse.[1]

1940 Re-opened. 'When the rationing of meat was introduced some months ago the slaughtering for the Wadebridge and Bodmin district ! was carried out at Wadebridge in the existing slaughterhouses of Messrs. Phillips and F. Lockett respectively. Two or three months ago both these places were closed and the slaughtering transferred to Bodmin. This week has seen the reopening of Messrs. Lockett's slaughterhouse at Trevanson Street, Wadebridge, for the purpose of supplying the Wadebridge and St. Minver areas, the premises having been reconditioned and improved to the satisfaction of the Ministry concerned.'[2]
