Francis George Scattergood (1863-1887)

Orphaned and brought up by his grandmother Hannah Sutton, at Duffield, Derbyshire.

Served in first campaign in Egypt and later stationed in Ireland

1887 Died in the fire at the Theatre Royal, Exeter when he returned to rescue others. Of the Royal Horse Artillery.
