Falk Heinz Kroch

Dr Kroch came to England as a political refugee from Germany in 1936, and soon set up business in a disused bleachworks in Eccles, Greater Manchester. This became the profitable Lankro Chemicals Company.

1983 Dr Kroch CBE died aged 79.

1984 'DR. FALK HEINZ KROCH, former chairman of Lankro Chemicals, who died last August, left estate valued at £1,029,857 gross, £879,313 net. Dr. Kroch, of Broad Oak Road, Worsley, Greater Manchester, was chairman of Lankro, of Eccles, Greater Manchester, producers of chemicals for the leather trade, and president of the Society of Leather Technologists.
